Sawla-Tuna-Kalba:MP Donates Sugar To Constituents.

The Member of Parliament for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey has donated One Hundred and Forty (140) bags of sugar to assist the Muslim communities in the on- going Ramadan.

The sugar was donated on his behalf by Mr. Kpeafaa Stephen, the District Director of Youth Employment Agency, Sawla-Tuna-Kalba.

Ninety two communities received a bag of sugar each, ten bags to youth groups, ten bags to women’s group, fifteen bags to some traditional leaders and Imams among others.

Mr. Stephen, used the opportunity to tasked all Muslims to use this period of Ramadan to pray against Covid-19 and also pray for the existing peace and unity in the constituency.

The NDC Chairman for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba, Alhaji Osman Salia equally called on both the Islamic and Christian communities to maintain the harmony that exist in the constituency.
