National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole- Bamboi constituency in the Savannah Region,  Hon. Alhaji Yussif Sulemana, has donated 4 tricycles to 4 communities in the constituency.

The vehicles, purchased by the MP,  who is the Deputy Ranking Member of Trades and Industry of Parliament with his own resources, are expected to aid movement of persons, particularly school children, the aged and the sick in communities such as Bodi, Gbongbote, Dikpa and another community yet to be identified and agreed on.

The donations were made after he had realised, during his tour of the communities  that  transportation was the major problem for most residents in the constituency.

Hon. Yussif, who has shown much commitment in meeting the needs of the constituents, stated that after hearing the complaints of the people concerning transportation challenges, he decided to purchase the tricycles at an undisclosed amount to help ease the burden.

The Constituency lawmaker indicated that the vehicles would enable members of the beneficiary communities in transportation more particularly school children to school and the sick to the nearest clinic for medical attention.

Aside the 4 tricycles donated today, the MP had earlier on donated one of the vehicles to Chache electoral area for the same purpose.

The MP also seized the opportunity to remind the residents of Bole as well as Savannah Region to be wary of the existence of covid-19 and adhere strictly to the protocols outlined by the GHS and WHO in combating the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
