Newly enskinned Mandari wura moves to his community.

The newly enskinned Chief of Mandari in the Bole Traditional Area, Isaac Dramani Mumuni has finally moved to Mandari.

In a welcome Address on Monday, May, 16th 2022 by Safal-Naa Kafinti and his people of Mandari said, “we the people of Mandari warmly welcome you to Mandari as the substantive and legitimate chief enskinned by the Overlord of Bole Traditional Area”.

Chieftaincy is a honorable institution meant to bring peace and development, there can never be development without peace so we therefore expect you to bring peace, co-operation and understanding to Mandari.

As a new Cheif, let’s us ensure that, these ingredients serve as our focus. We the people of Mandari assure you of our full and co-operation.

He again said Mandari is a Safalba speaking community, so we consider everybody as Safalba since everybody is related to one another.

So we therefore want to plead with you to be aware of rumor mongers who will want to divide us to desist from it since we want to live peaceful together.

Gariba, Mandariwura Dramani Mumuni, we the people of Mandari believe that if we adhered to these it will bring peace, harmony and development.
(I) we should all be careful with people who would want to peddle falsehood for their personal gains.
(ii) You are permitted to marry our daughters if you wish, but not our wives and vice-versa.
(III) Gariba, your wives should not try to Lord over any woman at the waterside or shea nut picking grounds, We should accord each other due respect.
(iv) the governance of Mandari lies in the hands of Mandariwura, the Safal-Naa and the elders, if these three groups of people agree to co-exist well there will be peace and development.
(v) Garba, we are solely farmers and therefore should be cordial relationship between you and us and the herdsmen on the other hand.

In his acceptance speech Mandariwura thanked Bolewura Sarfo Kutugefeso (I), the Safal-Naa, the people of Mandari and all the chiefs and his family for the support.

Mandariwura said he will make sure there is peace and unity among him and the people of Mandari, and also promise to foster development in the community so he is calling for support in the community.

Speaking at the special durbar, Alhaji Muniru Lemuna on behalf of H.E. former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, said that the durber is dear to his heart and would have wished to be part of the occasion but unfortunately other international engagements have swapped his attendance because he planned to have taken part and hence his absence.

He said there should be unity among them so they could get Development
he also thanked Bolewura Sarfo Kutugefeso (I) and all the chiefs in the Traditional Area for their unity.

He urged the people of Mandari to cooperate with the Chief so that they would get more development.

Alhaji Muniru Lemuna. added, that John Mahama has sent a powerful delegation led by him to represent him at the durber.

Bolewura Sarfo Kutugefeso (I) said “today is a great day and he is happy all the three Gates of the Bole Traditional Area are all here to grace the durber” .

He called on the people of Mandari to cooperate and support the Mandariwura so they could all enjoy unity and peaceful co-existence.
