The Communication’s Director of the Savannah Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mohammed Issah has assured Ghanaians that the Akufo-Addo government remains focused and resolute to deliver on its promises.
According to him, the NPP will not be distracted by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He made this known today July 14, in a reaction to a press conference that was held by the NDC at Damongo on July 13 regarding to the current happenings in the ongoing voter’s registration exercise in the Savannah Region.
In a press conference read by Mohammed Issah, he said the allegations raised by the NDC against the EC and NPP in the Region cannot be justified as he argued that it is a calculated attempt to vilify their Parliamentary candidate unjustly.
“Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapo is the problem of the NDC in Damongo, he is the sole reason for the charade they staged yesterday”, Issah indicated.
Mr. Issah, said no one has been assaulted by any NPP thug in the Damongo constituency as concocted by the NDC.
The NDC rather admitted assaulting our deputy Nasara coordinator for Damongo constituency and we have audios to that, he buttressed.
He added that it is a palpable false that the NPP were busing people from across the country for the purpose of the ongoing voter’s registration.
“Three buses were intercepted by some vigilant Damongo Youth on July 11,and when accosted the occupants confessed that they were rented from Accra by the NDC candidate and transported to be registered in Damongo constituency, it was later detected that the research assistant to the MP was behind this act”, he stated.
On the claim of not having daily print outs as said by the NDC, Mr Issah indicated that no constituency in the Savannah Region lacks what the NDC claimed and hence should be disregard.
“We stand for peace and development and as such we will make sure no one is stopped from registering to exercise his or her franchise regardless of who you intend to vote for, Issah stressed on.
