A 22 year old Fulani herdsman Allai Kotodi at Jarukura, a community in the North Gonja District of the Savannah Region has been butcherd by a 20 year old woman Fulera Tika in an attempt to rape her on Sunday, March 22, 2020.
According to the police in Daboya, Fulera reported with a blood stained Cutlass which is alleged to belong the fulani herdsman who attacked her and attempted to rape her on the farmland where the fulani sent his cattle for grazing.
In the process of defending herself she got injured on her right thumb and also slash the fulani with the Cutlass injuring him too.
The police said, the injured fulani herdsman also came to the police station to report that, a farmer butchered him when he sent his cattle for grazing, he said the farmer collected his cutlass to cut a stick and slash him Allai Kotodi.
During police interrogation he first said he was butchered by a farmer at Jarukura but later admitted having attacked and attempt to rape the 20 year old Fulera Tika.
The suspect has been arrested and taken to Daboya hospital under police guard while the victim has been given a police medical form to enable her attend hospital for treatment and to report later for further investigation.
