Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II, with other paramount Chiefs of Gonjaland were given a mammoth welcome through the principal streets of Bole to grace the 2021 annual Youth Congress of Gonjaland schedule on Saturday, April 3, 2020.
The Vice president of Gonja Traditional council was in a company with Kongwura, Tulwewura, Bunsunwura, Kpembewura, Wangara among others.
During a courtesy call in Bolewura’s palace, Buipewura said he was very happy to be in Bole especially at this good moment.
However stating his reason for the visit, Buipewura announced that after the Overlord of Gonjaland made him the chairman of the committee to resolve chieftaincy disputes in Gonjaland and after resolving Bole own, the overlord still tasked him and other paramount chiefs to keep an eye on Bole to see how they are copping since the issues were resolved.
“We therefore seized the opportunity of the youth Congress to be in Bole to see for ourselves how things has been”, the chief indicated.
In a welcome address, Bolewura Abdulai Safo Kutugefeso I said that he has received the message of the overlord in peace.
Bolewura said the people of Bole Traditional Area now live as one family and said Buipe Wura should tell the the overlord that the people of Bole Traditional Area fully in support of him.
