Seripe to host third edition of under 15 volleyball gala.

The third edition of of the Bole District volleyball gala for under 15 boys and girls is expected to take place at Seripe come Sunday, April 04, 2021.

The competition has had two successful tournaments in Nokoiyiri and Maluwe.

Speaking exclusively to Yagbon Radio sports after a brief visit to the host community, Mr Osman Issahaku aka Champion, the organizing secretary of the association said, he was pleased with the level of preparedness of the community as he indicated that the ground is safe for start of the tournament on Sunday.

Mr Sulemana Baba, the chief umpire was equally satisfied with the two courts to be used for the gala and also indicated that accomadation facilities for both players and officials were up to standard.

Champion however, advised that all participating teams made up Mandari, Simaalyiri, Dabuoyiri, Bole and the host community should report latest by 5pm on Saturday .

Simaalyiri and Mandari have both won the last two editions of the girls and boys categories respectively.

Sunday will therefore be a judgement for a new winner of each category.
