Bole Community Co-operative Credit Union, has opened a new full-service branch in Damongo in the Savannah Regional capital to provide comprehensive financial services to residents in Damongo and its environs.
The branch has a skilled and professional relationship team dedicated to satisfying the banking needs of the people of Damongo.
The opening of the Damongo branch, takes the number of the Bole Community Co-operative Credit Union branches to 3, reinforcing the Credit Union commitment to working together with all their customer segments to meet the banking needs of their diverse customer base.
Opening the new branch on February 2, 2021, members of the Credit Union, amidst brass band carried placards with inscriptions such as , “Bole Community Union is over 25 years”, “credit unions are owned by it members”, “save today, secure a better future” and walked through the principal streets of Damongo starting from the police headquarters through to Ndesco and ended at the market centre.
Speaking at the event the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Dramani Natomah Adams, said, “it has been a dream of every society or bank to grow, and as part of their growth drive, Bole Community Co-operative Credit Union has it as a vision to expand it operations to areas within or around their own jurisdiction.
He said due to proper management, the institution has been able to open a branch at at Tuna, Tinga and hence deemed it necessary to open a branch at Damongo the capital of Savannah Region.
“our mission is to provide diverse financial and adversary services to all members with excellence”, Mr Natomah added.
The General Manager of BCCCU, Mr Issah Fuseini, informed the gathering that the success of the industry was crucial because it would improve the livelihood of the people if they save with the Credit Union.
Outlining the financial standing of the Credit Union, he said it has grown from strength to strength.
He said, the institution has been growing since 1991 and encouraged the gathering to embrace the services of the Co-operative Credit Union and that customers will never regret doing business with them.
