Kawurbi Electoral Area Assemblyman Organises Free Health Screening For His Electorates.

The Assembly member for Kawurbi Electoral Area of the Sawla Tuna Kalba District of Savannah Region Hon. Abdulai Mohammed has organized a free health screaming for his electoral area.

The initiative he said forms part of his health strategic plan for his electoral area since assumption of office in 2019.

Speaking to Yagbon News, Dr Eric Ewisie of ERICNAFF Herbal Clinic, leader of the health team advised the members of the electoral area to take matters of their health seriously.

According to Dr Eric the team has received ulcer and obese persons during their screaming especially among the women.

The doctor advised the women to desist from eating late but eat early in the morning before household chores.

The health practitioner also alluded to the fact that in take of spices is one of the cause of cholesterol in their body and urged them to eat lot of fruit but however advised those with ulcer to avoid acidic fruits.

Speaking to Yagbon News the Assembly members of kawurbi Electoral Area Hon Abdulai Mohammed, said despite other intervention in his term as assembly member he takes the health of his people seriously.

According him day in and day out people just die prematurely due to lack of medical checkup adding that there are already revelation in today’s exercise and I am optimistic that the team will do a good job for the people.

The Assembly member said they have also come with some medicines to correct some health challenges which he has to pay for the cost of medicines for some of the members adding that they will be coming back for review to see progress of health issues in the electoral area.

He said aside this exercise there will be antenatal and postnatal care training in the area which is in collaboration between him and the Sawla District Health Directorate.

Some members of the electoral area expressed gratitude to the assembly member for the initiative saying that he will be glad if the exercise continues.
