The CEO of Vision Way Organisation,an NGO based in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District and one of the candidates who contested in the just ended NDC parliamentary primaries in the Sawla- Tuna-Kalba constituency, Botah Ernest, has averred that Ghanaians are facing hardship under the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking on Yagbon radio on Tuesday to thank delegates and constituents for their support during the elections Mr Ernest said even persons who belong to the NPP do not want to be associated with the party anymore because their hopes have been dashed.

Mr Ernest was among four candidates who contested for the parliamentary slot in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency but failed to clinch victory as the incumbent MP retained his position.

He also bemoaned the frequent increment in goods and services on the market and the high cost of living in the country.

In an interview with Yagbon radio, Mr Ernest “Ghanaians are crying. I have not seen a government that is an eye sore.

All those who voted for the NPP have rejected and do not want to be associated with the party anymore because everyone is facing hardship.

Contractors have not been paid. Prices of cost of goods on the market have equally shot up.”

Mr Botah Ernest urged the constituents to vote massively for the NDC parliamentary candidate and Former president John Mahama in the 2024 elections to win for there to be a change in the constituency.
