The Sawla -Tuna -Kalba Constituency of the National Democratic Congress has inaugurated its campaign team for the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.
The campaign team according to the party would be responsible for all the campaign activities in the constituency.
The Savannah Regional chairman of the party Alhaji Seidu Imoro indicated that any attempt to disenfranchise anyone in Savannah will be strongly resisted by the NDC as the Nasara wing of the NPP in the constituency was recently spotted compiling names of electorates in the constituency.
“I am sending a strong warning to the EC and Nana Addo that there will be chaos if we get to the polls and can’t find names of some of our members”, Chairman Imoro declared.
Members of the NPP were in our houses collecting new voters ID cards in the name of research, dont give your ID cards to them and if they delete any name in the register they will face our wrath,Alhaji Imoro told supporters of his party.
Addresing the party supporters at Awusi lodge, in sawla the constituency chairman, Osman Salia said the campaign is launched for all and not only the team.
He said the NPP Government came into power through deceit.
Chronicling some of the failed promises of the Npp Government, Alhaji Osman said 1V1D , 1D1F and one Dollar per constituency are all 419.
Alhaji Osman urged his members to drive the elephant away into the bush because it didn’t bring anything good home.
Addressing party faithfuls the member of Parliament and parliamentary Candidate for the NDC Hon. Chiwitey Dari Andrew said he has thrown a challenge to Hon. Lawal Tamimu to tell the people what he has done in almost four years of NPP Government in the Sawla- Tuna- Kalba constituency.
He said the NPP has nothing to show to even contest on.
He argued that huge sums of money was sent to the constituency in the fight against COVID-19 but there is nothing to show in that regard.
He said a total of Ghc 230,000 was received but there is nothing to show in this fight against civic-19 in constituency.

The campaign team is made up caders, council of elders, constituency executives, former appointees and executives.
The party hierarchy also used the opportunity to grace the launching of “Hero’s of Sindaa” formed by Atta, a party serial caller in the Sawla- Tuna- Kalba constituency.
