Nasco Feeding Minds commissions computer laboratory for Mempeasem cluster of schools.

Nasco Feeding Minds, an NGO with its headquarters in Barcelona but operating in the Sawla Tuna Kalba District has commissioned a computer laboratory for Mempeasem cluster of schools.

A total of 35 computers funded by ajuntament de sant quirze del valles and ateneu del Mon all from Spain is expected to serve five schools including Methodist B, St Kizito’s A, D/A Junior high school with their adjourning two primary schools.

In a welcome address the Head master of Methodist B Junior High School expressed delight over the kind gesture and assured Nasco Feeding Minds of judicious use of the computers to the benefit of the students.

Addressing teachers of the various schools, the DCE for Bole, Hon Veronica Alele Hemeng said pupils should seized the opportunity to keep up speed in the technological world.

She pleaded with Banaco and his team to help more schools in her District with such gesture as Oliver Twist will always ask for more.

A rep of the District Director of Education Mr Gollo Edgard said GES is ever ready to support the NGO implement any project of their choice to improve education in the District.

He pleaded with Banasco and his team to support Bole Education Office with IT equipment to for easy operation of activities.

The Assembly Member of Mempeasem Electoral Area, Hon Shiraz Deen Mahama said Banasco as usual is generous person since they met at secondary school and has since became friends and pleaded that the next time there is an opportunity they school consider the Mo area of the Bole District.

He however commended the teachers in his Electoral Area for the outstanding performance during the just released BECE results.

The Chief Executive Officer of Nasco Feeding Minds Hon Banasco Seidu Nuhu said they should be grateful to their Assembly member for the project.

He said they have done tremendously well by establishing 17computer labs in 10 years and urged them to maintain the facility to make the most use out it.
