Kenneth Yussif, known in the showbiz industry as Morelife has attributed the low patronage of Gonjaland songs due to lack of knowledge on the impact of music platforms.

Gonjaland music is rising to the admiration of the people of Savannah Region, however globally on some showbiz platforms like Audio mark , boomplay, Spotify among others see a little of these industrious craft of these artists.

Morelife said some artist actually do send songs to to these platforms but just a few are aware of their impacts.

Morelife who is also the CEO of Morelife entertainment said management has a critical role in promoting musicians on such platforms.

He said artists in Savannah Region at times release a song and just drop the song on social media which he said makes this songs lose their impact.

He said a song might be a hit but not a good a song adding that Savannah artist produce the best song but don’t make hit songs because of their marketing strategies.

He urged management to use media and these international platforms to market songs because music is business.

He call on artists to attach themselves to management for a strategic management because it about business and only for fun.

He said management or individual artists should know how to handle DJ’s to market their songs not to just post on social media and however called on the region to have a look at music union body and its award scheme as he called on stakeholders to have a well organized MUSIGA and a well structured award scheme.
