Sawla Girls Model JHS Headmistress calls for support to uplift the image of the school.

The Headmistress of Sawla Girl Model JHS, Mrs Ubaidata Adams has called on government and other benevolence organizations to assist the school to raise its image in the District as a premium JHS.

She stated this during a commissioning of an ICT center by Nasco Feeding Minds under it girls in ICT project.

The Headmistress said the school which was established by IBIS has done tremendously well by creating opportunities for girls to compete in male dominated fields.

On this score the school has attracted public attention which demand certain amenities including a dinning hall, class furniture, dormitory beds, a fence wall among others.

$he expressed her gratitude to Nasco Feeding Minds for the kind gesture and promises to judiciously use the computers to the benefit of the school.

In another location the Head master of St Augustine R/C Junior High School Mr Wilfred Yelelagee equally expressed gratitude to the NGO for the donation.

He said this is not the first time Nasco Feeding Minds has done this to his alma matter

He listed some of the challenges of the school saying they need lighting to prevent stealing of the computers, printer, internet access among things.

The PRO of Ghana Education Service, Mr Yirnaa Nonti Mathew who spoke on behalf of the District Director of Education thanked Banso and his team for creating such an impact in the area of ICT in the District.

He said they are ready to collaborate with Nasco Feeding Minds adding that the schools should ensure take good care of the facility.

He pleaded with the students to study had to return such a huge investment to the society.

Speaking on behalf of the Regional Director of Education, Mr Iddisah Seidu, the Regional Human Resource, said at   appoint almost became a consultant for this NGO for its positive strides to comminito
