The Pentecost Preparatory School at Bole has held its 5th Graduation Ceremony at the School premises on September 14, 2023.
The graduands comprises of pupils moving from kindergarten to primary 1, primary 6 to Junior High School (JHS) and students graduating from the JHS level to Senior High Schools (SHS) in the country.
There were various performances by the pupils on poetry, drumming and dancing, among other activities to the admiration by parents and teachers who were present to witness the graduation ceremony.
Pentecost Preparatory School which was established 15 years ago in the Bole township can boost of a numerical strength of 346 pupils and 21 teaching and non- teaching staff.
Headteacher of the School, Mr Nathan Kwasi Goloto , addressing the gathering noted that the staff and pupils have worked together with a common purpose towards achieving the desired academic and social greatness of the school.
He disclosed that the school’s performance in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has been marvelous over the years adding that the products of the school were competing in the best Senior High Schools (SHS) in the country.
He said through the unflinching support of the staff of the school good governance was one component the school can boost of couple with strong structures to achieve results for the school.
The headteacher disclosed that the school as a knowledge based center has one form 2 pupil who participated in Citi TV Literacy Challenge 2023 and performed marvelously.
Mr Goloto also expressed concern about the rising moral decadence and indiscipline among students in various schools in the country.
He, therefore, called for effective collaboration among stakeholders, including parents, teachers and traditional authorities towards the proper upbringing and development of children in the society.
The headteacher also appealed to all and sundry to come to the aid of the school in solving the infrastructural challenge with bags of cement as they launched operation 200 bags of cement and 50 tables and chairs for the JHS block.
He congratulated the graduands for a great milestone and urged them to continue in their academic ladder in order to become useful adults in the future.
