The Chief Executive Officer of Nasco Feeding Minds Mr Seidu Nuhu Banasco has said Tuna in the Sawla Tuna Kalba District of the Savannah Region is to receive an amount of £1.7m .
The amount is into energy and biodegradation project funded by EU to be situated in Tuna Senior High School.
The CEO said this during the commissioning of two ICT Centers in Sawla Girls Model and St Augustine R/C cluster of schools in Sawla.
A total of 70 computers of 35 for each school funded by fundacia agricola Catalana and Rental corparocion were donated to the schools.
Mr Banasco said Nasco Feeding Minds is not the best but has made the biggest investment in ICT than any government especially in Sawla Tuna Kalba District.
He said the exciting aspect is the introduction of Girls in ICT project which she believes will give girls equal opportunities in ICT in 21st century.
He said that they have established 17 ICT Centres including University of Ghana and the Bono East aside the Sawla Tuna Kalba District.
The President and founder of Nasco Feeding Minds, Mr Ousman Umar said he created this opportunity which he never got.
According to him he started this dream with less support but tody it is bigger than what he envisage adding that he promise himself that one day he will build the silicon value in Sawla- Tuna-Kalba District.
The leader of fundacia agricola Catalana said his father establish the foundation and died some 23 years ago and set a 30years future with the foundation for Spain.
He used the opportunity to call on the students to consider the journey of Banasco not to quit education .
Mrs carolina Hernandez from Rental corparocion said they support such project across the world at the time things are hard to cope with but with patient you are able to get to your destination.
She said she is happy to be part of the journey for seven years in Ghana.
