The President of Gonjaland Youth Association, Lawyer Mohammed Amin Osman has called on the people of Gonjaland to respect the customs and traditions of Gonja in the Selection, Nomination and Enskinment of Chiefs.

The President said this when he led the Leadership of the Association to join the chiefs and elders of Tuluwe Traditional Area to witness the Enskinment of Tuluwe wura Soale Mbema Borenyi at Tuluwe on Tuesday, 21st April, 2020.

The Tuluwe skin became vacant after the demise of Tulwewura Mahama Suleimana Bonyansa on 5th March, 2020.

The beauty of the Gonja custom and tradition was exhibited by the people of Gonja and Tuluwe in particular during the enskinment of the new Tuluwe wura.

The National President also encouraged the youth of Gonjaland to be abreast of the traditional system in order to appreciate the best practices as demonstrated by people of Tuluwe.

” let’s respect the authority of our chiefs and elders and help contribute to the development of our land” Lawyer Amin added.

The Chiefs and elders of Tuluwe expressed their happiness and further encourage the youth to keep supporting the traditional authorities to ensure peace and development in Gonjaland.
