Covid- 19:Ghana National Association of Garments Donates to Bole District Assembly.

The Ghana National Association of Garments, Bole Branch, led by the chairperson, Memunatu Saaka has today Thursday, April 23, 2020, donated to the Bole District Assembly dozens of liquid soap to support the national effort towards the containment of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Speaking to Yagbon News after the donation, Madam Memunatu said that it is necessary everybody joins hands in the fight against the deadly virus in the District.

She added ” as a branch in Bole this is the little they can also do to support the fight against the spread of the disease with regular hand washing with soap under running water as recommended by health experts in preventing people from contracting and spreading the virus”.

The Association also Donated some of the liquid soap to the two Radio Stations operating in Bole.

The DCE for Bole Madam Veronica Alele who received the items at a short ceremony at the old community center, thanked the Association for the support to the District towards the fight against COVID 19.

Madam Veronica promised the leadership of the Association that the Bole District Assembly will engage them to produce nose masks to be distributed in the District for free as a way of curbing the virus.

She added that several calls had been sent out for philanthropists to come and assist the District to combat this Disease in the District and that she was happy that the President of the Association has deemed it necessary to assist the District during this trying moments with the liquid soap.

She assured them that the items would be put into good use appropriately.
