Bolewura marks 2022 Damba.

The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Bolewura Sarfo Kutugefeso (l ) has on Saturday, October, 2022 marked this year Damba with a call to all inhabitants to support improve the standard of education in the area.

In a speech read on his behalf by his secretary, said the renaming of settler communities with indigenous Gonja names is dear to his heart and is committed to achieving that to avoid land disputes.

He announced therefore that consultative meetings will be held with community leaders to find a lasting solution to it.

Bolewura also maintained that, the importance of education in the society cannot be over emphasised and that is why he introduced the Kutuge Feso Science and Math Quiz to realize a better education for his people.

Bolewura however stated that he is committed is developing Bole Girls model to an ultra modern class school which could be renamed to Kutuge Feso Girls Model School.

The District Coordinating Director for Bole District Assembly reminded chiefs and people Bole Traditional Area what it stand for including culture as part of development.

He called on the people of Bole Traditional Area to let development of the area take the center stage of their conscience.

He said Bole is the commercial hub of Savannah region and a destination of settlers.

It is then a call on us to develop the potential of the area and stated that the things that binds us together is more than the things that divides us.

He showed his gratitude for Bolewura efforts in improving education in the area especially the introduction of Science and Maths quiz.

According to him, the Member of Parliamentary for Bole -Bamboi said Bolewura has done a lot in the area education, health and agriculture and therefore needs to be commended.

He said some strange killings took place in Bole and he has seen the commitment of Bolewura to unravel the perpetrators of these crime.

He said they are proud of Bolewura and he is ready to support the palace at anytime.
