Hon. Edward Laabiir Sabo, former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Wa-West in the Upper West Region, under President Akufu-Addo’s administration is reported dead.
His death was announced in a statement issued by his family.
According to the family, the immediate past DCE died on Friday 9th September, 2022, at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region after a short illness.
The former DCE was born on December 12, 1979, and had his tertiary education at the University of Development Studies.
He was appointed by President Akufu-Addo in 2017 as the Wa-West DCE who supervised the the activities of the District up to 2020 when he was replaced.
The entire District and the NPP fraternity is in shock about the sudden demise of the immediate past DCE.
According to the family detailed funeral arrangements will be communicated later.
