“Some of our leaders are enemies in disguise”.

Politics in Ghana today seem to have misplaced its essence as results of the way and manner it is practiced.

It is now being observed as a game of luck and chance.

He who drama well wins the trophy.

Therefore Ghanaian politicians are always looking for various tricks and dubious ways of attaining political powers.

They are full of indistinct promises.

The word, ‘politics’ according to the ‘Oxford Advanced Learner’s  Dictionary means any activity involving getting and using power in a public life and being able to influence decisions that affect a country or a society.

The decision –making and headship roles of political parties in the modern days’ Ghana have totally been faded.

Leaders who have been set at various governmental offices to deliver unto the good citizens of Ghana, patriotic services in the attainment of national peace and stability, democracy and developments and to instill the culture of oneness, respectfulness, and discipline are on the contrary, preachers of ethnicity, injustice, corruption, indiscipline, aggressiveness, and what I call ‘POLITICS OF ADULT INSULTS.’

Our political leaders are indeed disappointing. They are taking us for rides.

Ghana is gradually behind her original cultural values as a result of the kind of politics observed.

There is no more respect for the old. This is just because they have themselves with their attitudes make it clear to the youth of Ghana that disobedience and dis-respectfulness are norms via the media.

Leaders insult themselves almost every morning through the media all in their quest for political powers and governmental positions.

Ghanaian leaders do not consider the future of the youth of the land but rather assume political offices with the aims and goals of squandering the state’s properties for their individualistic well being.

It is my plea to all Ghanaians especially, the various stakeholders, religious leaders, family heads, the youth and our politicians to turn back to our primitive ways of living where there were respect for both adult and young, accountability, harmony and that which existed during the olden-days Ghana.

Mother Ghana needs each and every one of us in order to become the nation we have all wished .
