The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Savannah Region has on Saturday 13th August 2022, commissioned a new Regional party office in Damongo the Savannah regional capital.
Speaking to the media, the Savannah Regional Chairman Alhaji Sulemana Iddrisu said we all know that the NDC won popular vote in terms of presidential votes more than the NPP and this is what we are going to do, we want to win the presidential votes in Savannah Region than the NDC because Savannah Region was created by the able leadership of the president Nana Akufo-Addo and his Vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, that is why we have putting a temporal Regional Secretariat to man the affairs of the region, the youth and the vulnerable to canvass more votes come 2024 general election for the NPP in the Region, he said.
The Regional Secretary of the party, Mr Mohammed Issah, on his part said today we are here to commission the new edifice for our Regional Secretariat, as we are all aware we have a Constituency office but still working on party office for the Region so we can have our interactions here.
So God being so good we are able to put up a Regional Secretariat befitting on it’s name so that we can be having our meeting, dropping our letters, and do all our interactions here.
Again that is the major reason why we are here as you know our Regional Chairman as he’s busy schedules almost all over in the region but today he has made time to be in Damongo here for the purpose of commissioning this particular edifice for use and we would like to take this opportunity to thank him.
Why we are here is to alert the whole world know that we now have a Regional Secretariat for the purpose of administering the party in the Region that is our modest contribution as Regional Executives for the party NPP.
Of course it was one of my major contribution as a Regional Secretary aspirant, after I won it became a bigger issue for the whole executives and not only me, and they have since supported me to this particular level and I will like to use this opportunity to thank all regional Executives especially the Chairman for the support all through.
I will thank all patrons of the Npp party in the region especially the MP for Damongo, Lawyer Abu Jinapor and the Managing Director of GWCL, Dr. Clifford Briamah for their support.
All Regional and constituency executives of the NPP in the Savannah Region and other big party wigs were there for the commissioning.
