A mobile money vendor and a dealer in phones and accessories shop was taken by surprise in a day light robbery leading to the death of two residents in the Sawla town of the Savannah region.
The robbers according to an eyewitness accounts said 4 men with two motor bikes wearing coats robbed Boresa phones shop which belongs to one Mr Alhassan in the hours of 1 to 2pm on Thursday, December 9, 2021.
The District Police Commander confirmed the situation but said investigations are still on going to ascertain the lost of lives and properties.
He also confirmed that two persons were shot to deathwhen they traced the robbers in a shooting battle.
This young men shot by the robbers were Mr Oldman and Mr Rauf Obiabanye.
The police however said the matter is still under investigation and will soon update the public with the investigation.
