The Mandari District of the Church of Pentecost of the Sawla area has embarked on a clean up exercise as part of its annual clean up activities to ensure hygienic environment to promote good health.

This year’s exercise was in collaboration with The Church of Pentecost Child and Youth Development Centre, Pupils from Mandari E/A primary, D/A primary, and the students from Family Academy.

According to the district Pastor for the church of Pentecost Mandari, Ps. Jones Dwomoh Amankwah, transforming lives and communities is a collective effort, if done with passion it shows God’s love to humanity.

We had the opportunity to serve our people and the community once again, may be for the last time as we embarked on our regular clean up exercise today at Mandari.

With the support and corporation of the schools, community members, and The CoP CYDC, we cleaned our environment and donated toiletries to two CHIPS compounds at Bale and Chache, and also donated five (5) refuse baskets to three schools and the community to help minimize littering.

Key participants included members of the church, Mr Moses Gbolo and Asamoah, the Headteacher of Mandari E/A primary and a teacher respectively.

Others included Mr Micheal Djarquah, the project director of CoP CYDC and other CDW.

“We bless God for this experience with these great people, and community. I pray it remains part of them for the rest of the years.

Touching my community, spreading the love of Christ, transforming lives”, said the pastor.
