Some NDC Constituency Executives of the Wa West District made up of the Vice Chairman, Hon. Nicholas Guong, the Secretary, Hon. Bereh Alex Nako, together with some other party faithfuls has gifted assorted items in support of the aged and the vulnerable in the constituency.
The move, according to the Chief scribe of the Wa West NDC and party loyals, was eminent and also to mark recognition of the party members who are sick during this yelutide.
The event took the team a three day tour to meet, welcome and celebrate the new year with the sick and aged in Wa West Constituency.
They visited many who have been sick through accidents, natural sickness, some surgical operation and more importantly visit to the aged in the party for their commitment and loyalty to the party through the PNDC era till now.
The team presented many gifts to the sick and aged at their homes.
Many of the sick persons were given financial assistance to help in their clinical cost.
The team also presented wide range of gifts including new year drink (wine and champagne) to the aged.
The beneficiaries thanked the Secretary, Vice Chair and their team to continue the spirited love and concern for party members who invariably were incapacitated for some time now.
The Secretary and his team assured the aged of more visitations.
