A 37 year old Ruwa Koyire has been killed by unknown assailants at Zanku, a village near Kpalbe in the North East Gonja District of the Savannah region.
According to the East Gonja police source, a 10 year old boy Buba Ruwa reported to his uncle Majire Koyire that he accompanied his father now deceased with their cattle for grazing and an unidentified gunmen attack and shot his father.
According to the police the complainant, Majire Koyire proceeded to the scene in the bush at Zanku where the body of the deceased Ruwa Koyire has decomposed beyond recognition as the body was infected with maggots.
The police invited a physician assistant Yaw Tabi of Salaga hospital to the scene and after examination he gave the cause of death as “Multiple organ damage secondary to gunshots”.
The police has released the deceased to the family for burial base on their religion.
The Salaga police urged Residents of Zanku to have faith in the police as investigation is ongoing on to unravel the murder case.
