Frontier Missions Network International Executive Director, Apostle Dr Moses Sansah Konjon has handed over a two number Afridev hand pump boreholes to Sodoorteng and Nyoli Dosaa communities in the Sawla Tuna Kalba District of the savannah Region.
Speaking during a short ceremony, the Executive Director of Frontier Missions Network and Founder of Zion Community Church International said he will continue to provide potable water to the less privileged communities as long as he has the available resources.
He recounted how he receives daily persistent calls from people asking for a borehole.
He said the two donated boreholes will provide a source of drinking water to the growing population including the neighboring communities.
The Founder of the Zion Community Church International said the water will reduce all domestic chores challenges.
Dr Apostle Moses advised the residents to regularly maintain the only borehole in the community for generations to benefit.
The Assembly member for Yipaala Electoral Area, Hon Raphael Kulah on behalf of the community thanked the Executive Director for the great relief done them.
He said the borehole source will serve about 1500 residents in the area.
He pledged to liased with community members to maintain the borehole on regular basis for lasting years.
A women Organizer of Sodoorteng community Gyien Wapoomapan on behalf of the women expressed her Joy for the kind gesture.
She pledged to unite with her colleagues women in the community to maintain the borehole at any point in time.
Mr Gyieltaa Sodoor, on behalf of the community said his residents have been fetching from a well known river which has been contaminated by animal droppings viable for cholera disease.
He said water is life and thanked Apostle Sansah for the gesture.
