Supporters of Seidu Nuhu Banasco pick nomination forms for NPP parliamentary election in Sawla- Tuna-Kalba.

A section of NPP youth group in the Sawla Tuna Kalba constituency of the Savannah Region has picked a form for Hon. Seidu Nuhu Banasco to contest in the upcoming NPP primaries in the constituency.

According to the youth group, the move is to let him know that they appreciate what he has being doing in the constituency .

The group which describe themselves as Friendss of Hon Banasco contributed the sum of Three Thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc 3000) at the blind side of the aspirant to contest in the primaries.

Addressing the media after picking up the form, the spokesperson of the group Abdulih Issah Iddrisu said Mr Banasco has contributed significantly to the growth of the NPP in the constituency.

He said Mr Seidu Nuhu Banasco continued with activities of his NGO in the constituency despite losing the 2020 election.

He said he currently on a project in Tuna secondary Technical and Kong to support agricultural mechanisation.

“”Based on these reasons we have to pick the form for him knowing very well he can afford to buy his own form”,he asserted.

A member of the group who is a polling station executive Mr Ahmed Iddrisu said Mr Banasco deserve the support from the youth because he is someone who cares for the poor and needy in the society.

He has given to the brilliant but poor students scholarships to study in higher institutions both in and out the this Ghana and these are the people society needs, Mr Ahmed added.

He called on all to focus their attention on the young man not only NPP but the entire constituency to have a leader who cares about his people.

Madam gifty Adams, a polling station women organizer, said Banasco is the one who lifted the spirit of of the NPP in the constituency.

The Methodist polling station women organiser described him as someone who respect a lot adding that with such an election they need an old and experience contestant to win the election.

Leader of Loyal Ladies group said they saw the need to be part of the this move because of the tremendous contribution of Banasco to the NPP.

Miss Poumaaye Theresa, said most of them are studying in abroad as a result of Hon Banasco and this is a way of saying thank to the young and affable politician.
