Czech Republic National League side SFC Opava has acquired the services of Ghanaian teenage sensational striker Prince Afriye on a three – year contract but immediately loaned him out to Maltese top league side Mosta FC on a season – long loan.
Prince, who began his football in Bole in the Savannah Region, is one of the many young players being managed by fast rising football administrator Mr Kwame Adjei, Chief Executive Officer and owner of Kuga Soccer Professionals ( a division two club based in Bole ).
The eighteen year old Prince was called up to the National Under 20 side last year.
Prince netted 7 times in 9 outings a short sting for Pac FC ( a division one team based in Accra Ghana ) before flying to Europe to continue his professional journey.
In 2016, Prince was the first ever player in Bole, selected by Aspire Football Dreams Scout brought into the District by the then Dustrict Football Association led by Mr Haadi Imoro Bachang.
However, he could not take part in the final selection in Accra due to an injure he picked up after the selection playing for his beloved Bole Methodist Primary in a friendly match even though he reported at the Elwalk Sports Stadium in Accra.
As the elders say, your destiny might be delayed but certainly not denied, Prince couldn’t capitalise on the Aspire Football Dreams opportunity.
However, by dirt of hard work and good management by his handlers, the young goal pucher has finally left the shores of Ghana.
In a telephone interview with Yagbon Radio, an elated Kwame Adjei, aka Pusher, was thankful to God Almighty and all coaches who handled his boy for how far he has reached.
Yagbon Radio Sports team will continue to monitor the growth of Prince Afriyie and report accordingly.
