
The Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency on Sunday 12 July 2026 elected their Constituency executives in the Savannah region.
Hon. Gbaran Gbolo was elected Chairman unopposed, Forgor Iddrisu and Abdul-Rahman Adams were also elected unopposed as 1st Vice Chairman and 2nd Vice Chairman, Dawuda Amin Graham emerged as Secretary unopposed, Adams Abu Jajah was elected Organizer unopposed, while Dawuda Aziz Odo also went unopposed as Youth Organizer, Dimah Isaac Mwangu elected Treasurer unopposed.
In the contest for Deputy Secretary, Emmanuel Wellah secured 278 votes to defeat Abdul-Rahman Alhassan who polled 178 votes.
For Nasara Organizer, Nuhu Adams won with 168 votes, he beat Abdul-Basit Mashood with 153 votes and Abu Kasim Hidira with 131 votes.
Sumaila Munata was elected Women Organizer with 235 votes, she defeated Telly Joyce who had 174 votes, Mashood Toiba with 28 votes and Agbo Chogaale with 19 votes.
The position of Communications Director was won by Mensah Sila with 283 votes against Kipo Ansumah who polled 172 votes.
Speaking to Yagbon News after been sworn into office, Hon. Gbaran Gbolo expressed appreciation to the delegates for the confidence they had reposed in him.
Hon. Gbaran Gbolo also pledged their preparedness to work with some of the old executives who lost their positions and called for unity.
He noted that he will work hard to bring everyone on-board to consolidate the fortunes of the Npp in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency.
According to certified results declared by the Electoral Commission, most of the positions were won unopposed, while four positions were keenly contested.
