The MPs aide presenting a speech, commended the youth for organizing such an event which seeks to promote peace and togetherness among community members.

According to Mr Thomas, the Mp would have wished to be part of the occasion but inexcusable committee meetings have been the reason for his absence.

Mr Thomas, said the MP had noticed that Water supply remains a challenge across the District which the Yarkoi community is not exempted.

“Water supply, education, health remained as major challenges confronting our constituency which I therefore called for a collaboration especially between the MP, the DCE and other development agencies to bring true development to our people “, Mr Thomas added.

Mr Thomas, indicated that, the MP, has contributed towards education development by way of provision of computer labs, construction of classroom blocks in Pinvuro, Blemah, Tuonbo as well as instituting an award scheme for best student and the best school in the BECE.

Health wise, he provided support to the health service ranging from ambulance supply to renovation of health facilities ,thus, Nakpala CHPS and Tuna health centre.

As Mp he has provided over 50 boreholes to constituents and recently secured a scholarship for master Dari Felix a student from Poru worth over 40000 US dollars who is currently pursuing a BSC Biomedical Engineering at the Academic City University College in Accra,Mr Thomas added.
