Savannah Regional Nasara Coordinator takes over from Lawal Tamimu as DCE for Sawla-Tuna- Kalba.

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has nominated Madam Lonsina Barikisu the Nasara Coordinator for Savannah Region as the DCE nominated for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District.

This was made known today, Sunday, September 19, 2021, by the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Dan Botwe at the minister’s press briefing.

Madam Barikisu, if approved by the assembly, will be taking over from Mr Lawal Tamimu who served as a DCE for the area from 2017 to date.

In a related development, the President has retained Hon Veronica Alele as DCE nominated for the Bole District who served as DCE from 2017 to date.

Hon. Veronica is expected to continue her work as DCE for Bole for the next four of NPP administration and will be the longest serving DCE for the District since its creation, if approved.

Other nominees of the MMDCEs by the president for the Savannah Region includes; Karim Musah Kusubari- West Gonja Municipal, Iddrisu Salia- Central Gonja, Mohammed Tamimu- East Gonja Municipal, Mohammed Issah Tindawu- North- East Gonja and Adam Eliasu nominated for North Gonja.
