Savannah Region records first COVID-19 case as national count jumps to 6,683.

The latest updates from the Ghana Health Service shows that 66 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Ghana pushing the countries case count to 6,683.

The update also shows that the Savannah Region which has zero recorded cases since the outbreak of the virus has become the fourteenth and the latest Region to record a COVID-19 case from the East Gonja Municipality.

20 recoveries and one death has also been recorded in the country.

The new cases came from the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central, Western, Volta, Northern and Savannah Regions.

Ghana is now left with two regions, that’s Bono- East and Ahafo with no confirmed covid-19 case.
