Savannah College of Education appeals to Nasco Feeding Minds for ICT infrastructure project.

The Acting Vice Principal of the Savannah College of Education at Daboya, Mr Mohammed Mucktar, on behalf of the Acting Principal Dr. Musah Ekpampo has passionately appealed to Banasco Nuhu Seidu to consider including the College in Nasco’s ongoing digital literacy and ICT infrastructure projects, recognising its immense value to the student body.

The Acting Vice Principal made the appeal on Saturday, May 20th 2023, when the College celebrated its 2nd Matriculation ceremony with distinguished guests in attendance.

Mr Mohammed recounted the humble beginnings of the institution and its remarkable achievements so far.

Hon. Banasco who was the special guest of honor for the occasion in response to the request made by the College emphasised the crucial role of digital literacy in shaping the next generation of educators.

With eloquence and conviction, the Executive Director urged the students to introspect and envision themselves as the teachers they aspire to become, stressing the importance of purposeful actions and forward-thinking strategies to make a profound impact when they enter the teaching profession.

Banasco acknowledged the support of the Npp Regional Chairman Prof. Kalamonia, the Regional Minister Hon. Muhazu, the MP of the area who doubles as the Deputy Minister of health and the DCE Hon. Red Bawa in facilitating his outfits efforts to establish an ICT facility in the college.

Among the notable dignitaries in attendance were Hon. Mahama Asei, a Member of Parliament and the Deputy Minister of Health, who expressed unwavering support for the College and his contribution to securing accreditation for the College.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude, Hon. Red Bawa, the District Chief Executive, extended his sincere appreciation to all the stakeholders who have tirelessly contributed to the growth and advancement of the institution.

He fervently appealed for their ongoing support, recognising its indispensable role in sustaining the College’s operations and facilitating even greater accomplishments in the future.

Gbenapewura Mahama Saaka, the chairman of the event, effusively conveyed his deep admiration for Banasco Nuhu Seidu and Nasco Feeding Minds.

“Their unwavering commitment to creating opportunities and effecting positive change in the Savannah Region left an indelible impression” he noted.

He urged the students to emulate Banasco’s steadfast determination and strive to become invaluable contributors to society as they embark on their own individual journeys.
