Partner in participatory Development( PAPADEV) on Friday, March 20, 2020 awarded Mankuma and Kurabaso primary schools in the Bole District for their efforts and cooperation towards the fight against corruption
An undisclosed amount of money was given to the caterers and the head teachers of the two schools as result of their cooperation during the campaign on anti corruption on school feeding, capitation grant and teacher attendance.
According PAPADEV, the two school were selected by stakeholders of the program during the period of monitoring.
The caterers were supplying frequently and accurately while the head teachers conformed to the modus of attendance trucking and utilization of capitation grant.
The Executive Secretary of PAPADEV, Mr Edie Telly Mangu was grateful to CHRAJ, NCCE and Yagbon Radio for their cooperation and support during the period of the program as stakeholders in sustaining the program.
He said he is excited that partners in the program were in support during the whole period.
Teachers, student and PTA were at the program who shared their testimony about the program and how it has changed a lot of things in their various schools and pledged to sustain it.
The two school were grateful to PAPADEV and partners of the award and pledged to do their outmost best to keep the program running.
In 2018 PAPADEV in collaboration with CHRAJ, NCCE and Yagbon Radio launched an anti corruption on school feeding program capitation grant and teacher absenteeism in Bole and Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency which according to the organization has yielded positive gains.
Two schools are also set to be awarded in Sawla- Tuna- Kalba District on Monday, 23rd, March 2020 at Sawla.
