The Deputy Chief of Staff as well as the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party in the Damongo Constituency Hon. Lawyer Abu Jinapor on Thursday and Friday 19th and 20th March, 2020 respectively made Donations of Carbolic Soaps amounting thousands of Ghana cedis to all health centres in the Damongo Constituency in a wake of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
On behalf of the NPP Parliamentary candidate Abu Jinapor to make the Donation were Mr. Seidu Jaja (constituency Organizer), Mr. Bakuri Kotochi (Second vice Chairman) and Mr. Iddrisu Laminu (Communication Director) of NPP for the Damongo Constituency.
The Organiser and the others executives made the donation to the health centres in the constituency as an immediate preventive measure to the deadly coronavirus and again extended the Parliamentary Candidate’s word of supplying them hand Sanitizers, nose and mouth Mask, gloves among others when they are available.
Mr. Francis Ewuntomah and Mr Francis salia represented the West Gonja District hospital to receive the carbolic soap on behalf of the Hospital.
Mr. Aziz Yelichere and Madam Comfort also received the carbolic soap on behalf of the District Health Directorate and the Damongo Town Clinic respectively.
The Health authorities thanked the NPP Parliamentary candidate Hon. Lawyer Abu Jinapor for his kind gesture and quick intervention taken to supply the health centres with the carbolic soap. “that shows leadership, and may God richly bless Lawyer Abu Jinapor” was their remarks and promised to put the Carbolic soap donated to them for the purpose it’s meant for.
The parliamentary candidate plead to his constituents to take the precautionary measures in the artwork spelt out below by the Ministry of health very serious to combat Coronavirus.
The Ghana Health Service has confirmed the coronavirus cases in Ghana is now 16, up from 11 on Thursday. Fortunately, no loss of life has been recorded.
An earlier report indicating that 8 out of the 16 coronavirus infected persons in Ghana have recovered is untrue.
