Speaking on the increased number of parliamentary seats for the NPP in the Savannah region from one seat during the 2016 general elections to three seats in the 2020 elections, Mr. Mohammed Haruna noted that the kind gesture is a show of appreciation by the good people of the region to the government for it’s goods works most especially the creation of the Savannah region after four decades of petitioning previous governments failed.

“The Savannah region was birthed by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufu Addo after our own brother Ex-president John Dramani Mahama and other previous administrations failed to honour the petitions of the the good people of this regions for over four decades”, he stated.

He further expressed his believe in the people Savannah region to increase the number of parliamentary seats in the region following the construction of the Daboya-mankragu road project, the Yapei water project, the Salaga-Bimbila road project, the Bamboi polyclinic, the Bole district warehouse among other great achievements of the NPP in the region.

That would be hinged on the Party’s commitment to accelerate socio-economic and infrastructural development across the country and the various social intervention programmes which were transforming the lives of all Ghanaians under the stewardship of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He said President Akufo-Addo was determined to hand over power to NPP, hence his unwavering commitment to work tirelessly at all times to make sure the party succeeded in governance.
