Lands and Natural Resources minister backs Bolewura call to elevate Bole to a Municipal status.

The Lands and Natural Resources minister and Member of Parliament for the Damongo constituency,Hon.Samuel Abu Jinapor has backed the call by the Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area,Bole wura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (l), to elevate Bole District to a Municipal status.

The Chief reiterated the call when the minister paid a courtesy call on him at his Palace on Friday, November 25,2022.

This is the third time the Chief is making such plea.

In a welcome address, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso described Samuel Abu Jinapor as an ambitious politician adding that he will go very far in his political ladder.

He described him as a descendant of Seih of Sarfo gate with a lot of historical antecedence.

Bolewura said in Savannah region there is no political god father in the NPP unless he Jinapor.

He said in view of his position he can influence the upgrading of Bole District to a municipal status.

He said when STK was carved out it reduced the indices of Bole to gain a municipal status so he prayed to the lawyer that he should try and upgrade Bole District but not to split it .

In a short address, Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor said he was delighted by the warm reception by the chiefs and people of Bole.

According to the minister, she told HE Nana Akufu-Addo, of his visit to Bole and he sent his warm greetings and that he still remember him in his plans.

Samuel jinapor who is also MP for Damomgo Constituency said the day where politician only visit functions during electioneering is over adding that he will not visit because there is going to be an election but any time he is always free us customs and traditions demands.

He said people of Gonjaland must lift the young ones up any time one is in a position and that is his top priority.

He assured Bolewura that on Monday he will first call on Hon Dan Botwe on the issue Municipal status of Bole District.

Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor also assured Bolewura that, the Bole- Sawla Highway will also be rehabilitated for the chiefs and people of Bole Traditional Area.
