The Chief Executive Officer for Vision Way Organization, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Ghana, Ernest Botah has challenged students at St. Augustine’s JHS, his Alma mata, to take into their own hands the future they aspire.
The CEO for Vision Way who doubles as a motivational speaker in Ghana and globally took a day off his business schedules to empower the students at St. Augustine Junior High School in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District.
He spoke to the students on the theme, “Living Vision Powered Life,” a topic that ignited the “Can do” spirit of the students who participated in the event. Each person could carve a vision for themselves just few moments into Mr Botah’s talk.
One could easily tell the inspiration the students deduced from the speakers empowerment speech right from their faces.
Ernest Botah told the students their destiny was in their hands and must not even be interrupted by their own parents.
He however taught them to give utmost respect and obedience to their parents.
The Vision Way CEO urged the students to cultivate the sense of dignity, discipline and high performance demonstrated by the 1st batch of the school which he once enrolled in.
He said, “For one to discover his vision, he must be able to identify his PASSION, PAIN, POTENTIAL and Persist through.”
Ernest Botah charged the students to write down their goals and start pursuing them, adding, “May you start talking like a lawyer, if you want to become one, dress like the nurse, the engineer, Minister, president you want to become one, for the future is not for those who grow into it but those who are prepared for it.
Never be discouraged by the negative opinion of people about you, just study hard, work SMART and pull out the success placed in you by God.
He then donated a football to the school on behalf of the old bones upon the request of the headmaster.
Background
The Vision Way Organization is an NGO founded in 2012 by Mr Ernest Botah in the Savannah Region, Ghana.
It aims at arresting societal ignorance by way of training young persons in and out of schools.
It envisaged on equipping the African youth to live beyond their present and future challenges whiles maximizing their intent of existence.
The group and it’s leadership have done great in Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District and beyond since it’s established in 2012.
It has really touched lives in the country.
