The National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency secretary hopeful for Bole-Bamboi constituency, Mr Augustine Jimah, has reaffirmed his readiness to serve his constituents and the party with commitment and integrity when given the opportunity.
“I am a grassroot person and I have served the party in various capacities.
I think everyone would want to contest a position that he or she can better serve his or her people and the party. just like football if you don’t put your players at their right positions, you may not achieve Victory. I think I can better serve our delegates, party supporters and the party as a whole at the top level,” he stated.
He also assured delegates that he will be reliable and accessible in addressing their concerns when given the nod.
According to him, tackling the increasing youth unemployment will be his top priority through lobbying to the get them jobs to earn a living.
He assured the delegates of ensuring that the constituency gets a befitting party office to run its administrative activities should he be elected as the constituency secretary.
Mr Agustine in June this year officially declared his intention to contest in the party’s upcoming Constituency elections as a secretary.
He has since been consulting and engaging party members and delegates to sell his message.
He is a trained professional teacher with good appreciation of data analysis, research, and had worked in the constituency in three (3) consecutive presidential and parliamentary elections as member of the constituency campaign task force in 2012, 2016 and 2020, campaign research, spokesperson for Bole-Bamboi in the last general elections and member of the communication team for a decade.
In July 2018, he offered himself for elections as the Constituency Secretary but was unsuccessful.
