A teacher and Assemblyman for Gbeniyiri Electoral Area in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District, Francis Saabom, has died in a motor accident.
The deceased, who was on his way to Saru, crashed into a bridge and died on the spot.
Assemblyman for Dorny Electoral Area,in the Wa West District, Chekuo Emmanuel, confirmed the incident to Yagbon News.
He said the deceased is believed to have hit a bridge in between Vieri and Bernyasi with his forehead possibly hitting a stone in the ditch.
The body of the Assemblyman was deposited at the Wa Regional morgue.
