Hon. Yusif Sulemana, Member of Parliament for Bole- Bamboi, has cut sod for a series of education infrastructure projects aimed at improving learning conditions across the District.
Bodi, Mankuma, Dabuoyiri and Bekwei Kura were the four communities where sod was cut for the commencement of new classroom blocks.
Hon.Yusif said the projects formed part of his vision to ensure that no basic school in the District would face a classroom deficit.
He explained that the initiative was motivated by the desire to spare current pupils the difficulties many experienced in the past due to inadequate infrastructure.
The MP urged the contractors to maintain high standards and complete the projects on schedule, reiterating that shoddy works would not be tolerated.
He assured the contractors of government and community support, as he cautioned that contracts could be reassigned if expectations are not met.
The MP also visited Gbenfu, Manful, Maluwe, Kakiase and Seripe to get first hand information on the renovation works of various projects in the Constituency.
