The Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi, Alhaji Yusif Sulemana has donated a brand new Toyota hearse and four motorbikes to the Muslim community in Bole.
The donation of the hearse is to help convey the dead to the cemetery.
The community until the donation by the constituency lawmaker did not have a vehicle to carry the dead to the cemetery making it a priority need for the people.
He indicated that procuring the vehicle was a worthy investment he had to make to minimize the challenges the Muslim community go through in transporting dead bodies to their resting place.
“I believe without even going to medical details what we could be going through by using our personal vehicles to carry corpse, I think it is enough for us to use a separate vehicle to transport dead bodies to their resting place, he added.
The Bole Chief Imam who received the keys to the hearse on behalf of the Muslim community in Bole commended the MP for the gesture.
The Muslim clerics in Bole used the opportunity to seek Allah’s guidance for the Member of Parliament in all his endeavors to ensure the constituency forges ahead.
The four motorbikes are however to be distributed to the leadership of the 3 royal gates of the Bole Traditional Area and the “Kidemawura” of Bole to enable them to transport the above mentioned traditional authorities to the palace to carry out their duties smoothly without hindrances.
