The Traditional Leadership of Beel (Bole) under the auspices of BɛɛlKoro Jara Donweh Bamara XV and Bɛɛl Heuhin SiayoDaani Jakala II of the Koro Tindana Council of the Savannah Region has condemned the recent killings of people in Bole.

This development is inappropriate, evil, and detrimental to the people and offensive to the gods (Vuga) of Bɛɛl and its immediate environs.

This was contained in a release by the Koro Tindana Council.

According to the release , the traditional leaders have chosen to speak of the evil development and would do what is customarily right to appease the land
against the evil for the good image of Bɛɛl (Bole) and the safety of the people of Bole and the surrounding communities.

These suspected killings at odd hours are increasing and must stop.

“The Koro Tindana Council is thereby by this release urging residents of Bole and its environs to be extra vigilant, especially at night and that the Council shall do what is customarily right to the gods and the ancestors of Bɛɛl (Bole) against those behind the evil practice, ” the release stated.

Such killings the Council said are aliens to the customs and practices of the Gonja Tribes and the Gonja People.

This evil must stop, this evil must not go unpunished, this evil must be exposed by the powers of the spirits of the land Bɛɛl (Bole) and beyond.

The Koro Tindana Council is appealing to the distinguished in uniform particularly the Ghana Police Service (GPS) to get into the evil and get those behind the suspected killings arrested.

The Council also wish that suspects in this evil practice must be made to face the laws of the Land through the courts rather than being made to go scout-free.

The Council said it has has great trust and confidence in the Police to get into this evil practice while the Traditional leaders
perform their traditional practices against the evil practice/act currently ongoing in Bɛɛl (Bole).

The Koro Tindana Council is also urging the media in and around Bɛɛl (Bole) to increase their publicity on the evil practice of “suspected killings” in Bɛɛl (Bole) township and near
communities.

The youth must be alerted, and assist traditional leadership and the Ghana Police Service with tips and cues to help stop the evil.

While the spirits deal with the spiritual, the physical beings must also do their part to support the great policemen and women to stop it, the Council added.

The Koro Tindana Council hopes the tripartite approach (traditional leadership, community members and Police) will succeed in ending the “suspected killings”in Bɛɛl (Bole) township.
