As part of the nationwide exercise of fumigating all market centres across the country, the Bole District Assembly today, Wednesday, April 1st, has successfully disinfected the Bole Kejetia market.

The disinfection exercise in the Bole kejetia market comes on the back of a similar one conducted at the Bole central market on Saturday, 28th march 2020.

Ahead of the exercise, the DCE for the area, madam veronica Alele Heming, Said the decision was in consultation with the market women.

Meanwhile , the leadership of the traders group in the kejetia market have indicated that traders have complied with the directives to close their shops to pave way for the fumigation exercise.

The idea of fumigating all markets in the country which is spearheaded by the Ministry of Local Government is to get rid of all filth in the markets that may be a breeding places for viruses and other pathogens.
