COVID-19: BYA CALLS ON MEMBERS TO SUPPORT FIGHT.
The National Birifor Youth Association (BYA), has appealed to all members across the country, to as matter of urgency donate essential items such as Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs), as measures to prevent the deadly Coronavirus from rearing its ugly head in the Birifor communities.
In a statement issued by the President Mr. Joseph Tii Dari, on 3rd April 2020, said the target areas will be the Bole and the Sawla- Tuna- Kalba Districts in the Savannah Region and the Wa West and Wa East Distinct in the Upper West Region.
Some of the items listed include hand Sanitizers, Face mask, Soap of any kind, Veronica buckets ,Vehiccles and Fuel for health team to move into the communities.
The statement also thanked Madam Vivien Ne-ormah, for buying one month airtime already on Yagbon Radio, purposely to educate the Birifor communities.

APPEAL FOR DONATIONS TO HELP FIGHT COVID 19 IN BIRIFOR COMMUNITIES
Good morning brethren. As part of our effort to help combat covid19 pandemic, I would like to appeal to Birifors Youth Association members of good standing to come to the aid of the association with;
- Sanitizers to be distributed in Birifor communities as part of awareness creation.
- Face mask
Soap of any kind
3.Veronica backets - Vehicles to transport the health teams
4.Fuel for health team to move into the communities.
Let me take this opportunity to thank Vivien Ne-ormah for her selfless contribution made to pay for one month airtime to help educate our people.
Let’s all endeavor to give at least two sanitizes, mask or soap or momo.
The districts targeted include; STK, Wa West and Bole.
Note: Any donation received will be announced on yagbon and radio progress for our people to appreciate your effort.

Meanwhile a health committee has since been constituted to coordinate activities and feed members with information regarding to the disease in the selected Districts of the Birifor communities.
