Don’t ‘tamper’ with Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency album– 8 aspirants petition NPP leadership.

Some eight persons who are vying for various constituency executives positions in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba of the Savannah Region, have petitioned the leadership of the Savannah Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP), over what they claim is an attempt to alter the constituency’s album ahead of the party’s constituency executives elections.

They have asked leadership in the region to ensure that the “sanctity of the constituency album is preserved” and pointed out that it would be advisable for the party to “act swiftly to help stem the current uneasiness that was beginning to sweep through the constituency.”

They alleged that attempt to get the results of the just ended recently held polling stations elections exhibited has proved futile.

“A good number of party members were disqualified from taking part in the elections just because their names were in the EC special voter’s list not even after some were disqualified after their documents were vetted told they did not have any problem”, the petition added.
