Bole District Assembly donates to persons living with HIV/ AIDs.

The Bole District Assembly led by the District Chief Executive, Madam Veronica Alele Heming on December 3, 2020, donated food stuffs to persons living with HIV/ AIDs in the District to enable them celebrate Christmas in the upcoming days.

Madam Veronica Alele Heming, giving out the items which included 6 bags of rice and 2 gallons of oil were handed over the beneficiary patients to share among themselves.

She indicated that, the donation forms part of many of such donations given to persons living with HIV/ AIDs to enable feel the sense of belonging in a society.
The DCE encouraged them to eat well on daily basis as that will improve upon their immune system be strong to withstand the reactivity of the virus.

“Today the Bole District Assembly bought 3 bags of rice and I also bought additional 3 to be given to you as Christmas is approaching for to celebrate the event as all humans do”, she added.
A beneficiary patient, madam Mary Damanga,who received the donation on behalf of her colleagues thanked the District Assembly and the DCE for the kind gesture shown them.

She said the Bole District Assembly has been supportive to them at all times as she maintained that any time a request is made by them the DCE ensures that they are attended to and for that matter prayed for the Assembly to continue its good works.

Madam Mary urged the public to strictly adhere to the safety protocols of covid-19 to ensure that the spread of the virus is curtailed.
