The Bole District Director of the Department of Agriculture also stated that more has to be done in our collective efforts to improving the awards to motivate the hardworking farmers towards achieving a common goal of increasing agriculture productivity in the District and the country as a whole.

Ghana is on the right path to food sufficiency as witnessed from the bumper harvest in most crops over the few years.

In all, 10 hardworking farmers took home prices in various categories.

The overall District Best Farmer went to Mr. Sunpuo Litey who took home a motor king tricycle, 2 bags of organic fertilizer, pair of wellington boots, cutlasses, knapsack sprayer, Radio set and a certificate of recognition.
