Madam Veronica Alele, District Chief Executive for Bole has commissioned an ultra modern Community-Base Health Planning Services (CHPs ) compound at Sonyor in the Bole District of the Savannah Region.
Commissioning the facility, the DCE said, the facility was funded through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) which formed part of government’s resolve to improving upon health care delivery in the community who are mostly farmers.
She called on residents to have faith in the Parliamenty Candidate for the area, Hon David Sei Demah and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo -Addo by voting massively for them during the December polls to bring more developmental projects in the area.
Madam Veronica said the Akufo Addo led Government was committed to the equal distribution of the national cake regardless of one’s location and called on residents to retain President Nana Akufo -Addo to do more for the country and Bole-Bamboi Constituency.
Mr. David Bakuri, District Health Director commended the Government and the District Assembly for constructing one of the best ultra modern facility in the District adding that the beauty of the facility will motivate nurses to accept postings to the community.
He also promise the people of Sonyor that he will post a mid-wife to the facility to always take care of pregnant women in the area.
The Director appealed to the DCE to reconstruct the Sonyor – Bole road and also get network in the area to help facilitate their work.
He advised the community to maintain the facility to enable it last longer.
He added COVID-19 is real and called on residents to adhere to all the safety protocols to defeat the virus.
Sonyorwura, Adamu Kayiti commended the Government for excuting what no Government had done for the community.
According to the traditional ruler, residents would no longer have to trek for hours to access health care.
He also called on the DCE and the NPP Government to reconstruct their road and also get them Network for easy access to communication.
